Property Driveway and Parking
Recently, our company completed an earthworks project for a property in a Chittering. The project included the creation of a new driveway and parking area using roadbase material. Roadbase is a durable and cost-effective material that is often used in construction projects such as driveways and parking areas. It is made up of a mixture of crushed rock, sand, and clay, which provides a stable and compact surface that can withstand heavy loads and heavy traffic.
Constructing the Driveway
The first step in the project was to clear and level the area where the driveway and parking area were to be constructed. This involved removing any existing vegetation and debris, as well as grading the area to ensure proper drainage. Next, we installed a subgrade layer of compacted roadbase material, which serves as a foundation for the final surface layer. This layer was compacted using heavy machinery to ensure a stable and level base. After the subgrade layer was in place, we installed the final surface layer of roadbase material. This layer was also compacted using heavy machinery to ensure a smooth and even surface.

Finally, we finished the project by adding a layer of asphalt or concrete on top of the roadbase material. This provided a smooth, durable surface that is easy to maintain and will last for many years. The customer was very satisfied with the final result. The new driveway and parking area not only improved the appearance of the property but also provided a functional and durable surface that will withstand heavy loads and heavy traffic.
